Yahoo Lifestyle Jimmy Kimmel Just Called Out Kanye West Over His Wife Bianca Censori's Controversial Naked Moment On The Grammys Red Carpet
Jimmy Kimmel has called out Kanye “Ye” West over his and Bianca Censori’s controversial appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Unless you’ve been under a rock this week, you’ll have seen that Ye and his wife, Bianca, sparked backlash at the Sunday night award show, with Bianca posing for photos in a completely sheer dress that left absolutely nothing to the imagination.
The couple left after snapping their pictures on the red carpet and did not stay for the actual Grammys ceremony. Needless to say, folks online were pretty uncomfortable at Bianca’s near-naked appearance.
Days after the award show, Ye defended Bianca’s look, stating proudly on Instagram, “MY WIFE IS THE MOST GOOGLED PERSON ON THE PLANET CALLED EARTH.”
Now, talk show host Jimmy has slammed Ye in a monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
After speaking about the recent Groundhog Day celebrations, Jimmy said, “Another rodent came out of his hole to hit the red carpet at the Grammys last night.”
“None other than Kanye West,” he clarified, to various “Ooooh”s from the audience.
“He showed up with his wife who caused quite a stir. She was wearing nothing,” Jimmy explained.
“This shows you how much times have changed. Before Trump, this would have been our whole monologue. Now it’s like the ninth craziest thing to happen this weekend,” he quipped.
Jimmy then went on to mention Will Smith’s recent return to award shows and his infamous Oscars slap.
In case you missed it (though I can’t imagine anyone did), Will won the Academy Award for Best Actor for King Richard at the 2022 Oscars. He also went onstage to slap presenter Chris Rock in the face after he made a distasteful joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
“Keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth!” will continue to echo through the halls of the Dolby Theatre for generations to come.
Will later apologized for his actions and subsequently resigned from the Academy, stating that he was “heartbroken” over his behavior and that he had “betrayed the trust of the Academy.”
Referencing the memorable moment now, Jimmy said, “You know, it’s a shame. All [Will Smith] had to do was run out on that red carpet and slap Kanye. I think all would be forgiven.”
