Last winter, the sandwich chain revealed a not-so-secret menu ordering trick called the BLAHS sandwich and it's still going strong. The acronym name comes from the list of ingredients—bacon, lettuce, avocado spread, hot peppers and salami—all layered on Jimmy John's signature French bread. It’s a flavorful, spicy twist on the classic bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich, blending savory, spicy and creamy elements.

How to Order the BLAHS Sandwich at Jimmy John's
To order it, start with a Jimmy John's BLT, then ask to customize it by adding avocado spread, Jimmy Peppers and salami, and hold the tomatoes. And just like that, you've got yourself a BLAHS sandwich. The hack is available in both sandwich and wrap form.
While this isn't an official menu item, the BLAHS sandwich has the official Jimmy John’s stamp of approval so its employees should be very accommodating to the customization.

"There's a lot going on with it, but like fundamentally there's nothing tricky with it, it's just nice strong flavors," said YouTuber Brandon Wenzel in a recent video where he reviewed the BLAHS sandwich. "You've got some heat, you've got some saltiness, you've got some nice savoriness."
According to Wenzel, the bacon and salami are great additions but what seals the deal is the avocado. "Without that, it would be a little bit one-dimensional. You just get that nice creamy kind-of earthiness, sort of butteriness from the avocado all the way through."
