Jennifer Lopez's Low-Rise Jeans Streak Is Unstoppable (No, Really, Are We Back in 1999?)

Jennifer Lopez is committed to low-rise jeans.

Love them or hate them, she's going to do everything she can to convince you that they deserve a spot in your closet. The Unstoppable actress, 55, wore yet another pair for a special screening of her film in Los Angeles on Dec. 15, and she has us feeling like it's 1999 all over again.

For the event, Lopez rocked a pair of light-wash low-rise jeans with a slight flare that matched her powder blue tuxedo jacket. Underneath, she wore a sheer light blue pussy bow blouse (with nothing under it), completing the monochromatic look. She swept her hair out of her face and finished the whole look off with a pair of nude platform heels.

In the past week, Lopez has worn not one, but two other pairs of low-rise jeans, a silhouette that was popular in the 1990s and early 2000s. On Dec. 12, she was seen out in Los Angeles wearing a pair of extremely low-rise True Religion jeans with a lace top that bared her abs (how very Jenny from the Block of her!).

She accessorized with a pair of platform open-toe pumps, a camel brown Hermès Birkin bag and oversize brown sunglasses.

One day later on Dec. 13, she stepped out in another pair of statement jeans — these a pair of leather-trimmed patchwork wide-leg pants by Tom Ford, which are retailing on Net-a-Porter’s website for $2,505.

She styled them with a cropped furry coat and her trusty Hermès Birkin.

Lopez isn't only wearing low-rise jeans lately, though. She did slip into a teeny-tiny ruffled Chloé romper for movie promo on Dec. 10. The tan one-piece included voluminous sleeves with billowing tiered layers. The romper was so short, it looked like Lopez was leaning into the pantsless trend as she posed for photos on Instagram.

For the sultry pictures, she wore her golden bronze hair down and flowing, the loose curls around her head as she smized for the camera. "Press Day for… UNSTOPPABLE | adjective unable to be stopped- An unstoppable force," she wrote.
