Jennifer Lopez's Barely-There Mocha Mousse Revenge Dress Plunged to Her Belly Button

When it comes to Grammy Awards fashion, fans can count on Jennifer Lopez to push the boundaries while serving iconic sartorial moments every single time. With the help of her longtime stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, the multi-hyphenate has written the playbook on internet-breaking red carpet looks throughout her decades-long career, including her most well-known dress of all time: The infamous green Versace gown that Lopez wore it to the 2000s Grammys that was so iconic, it led to the creation of Google Images. Ahead of the 2025 Grammys, the “On the Floor” singer proved she’s definitely still got it as she stepped out at a pre-Grammys gala on February 1 wearing a Y2K-inspired plunging mocha mousse revenge dress.
Lopez joined the star-studded glitterati at Clive Davis’s annual pre-Grammys party on Saturday night in a barely-there gown. The “Waiting for Tonight” star’s iridescent LaPointe dress–a silky cowl neck creation in 2025’s hottest color– showed off her toned torso from every angle, thanks to a plunging halter neckline that went all the way to her belly button and an equally plunging cut in the back that ended right above her tailbone. In contrast to the flowy fit of the side boob-baring cowl top bodice, the reflective skirt of Lopez’s dress featured a bodycon fit that hugged her curves.
As she mingled with other music industry titans like her manager Benny Medina, J Balvin, and David Guetta ahead of February 2’s Grammy Awards, the Unstoppable actress leaned into the teddy bear-coded colorscape of her monochromatic outfit with some mob wife accessories. Draping a brown faux fur coat over her shoulders, Lopez iced herself with a multi-watt collection of diamonds. Her middle-parted sleek bun showed off a pair of dazzling diamond earrings, while a large statement diamond pendant necklace sparkled at her throat. She complemented her dark brown manicure with several diamond cocktail rings and held a brown geometric clutch as she stepped out for the evening.
Lopez leaned into the all-brown memo with a monochromatic beauty look. Copper-toned smokey eyeshadow enhanced her eyes, while a soft bronze glow warmed up her complexion and sculpted her features. A brown-toned nude lipstick, champagne highlighter, and peach blush were the finishing touches to her pre-Grammys beauty look.
It’s unknown whether Lopez is planning to attend the 2025 Grammys on Sunday amid her recent divorce from Ben Affleck, but sources recently told Page Six that the star is gearing up for a “big year” with her recent appearances in Unstoppable and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Her company Nuyorican will also be collaborating with Netflix for a series based on Emily Henry’s bestselling novel “Happy Place.”
“There’s a lot of positivity for the year ahead,” said a source who knows Lopez told Page Six. “It’s a big year for her.”
