On Saturday, July 13, the singer and actress was spotted in the Hamptons shopping with her stepdaughter Violet Affleck, carrying a Hermès Kelly picnic bag, which is designed of straw and brown leather.
A TikTok user captured a clip of Lopez, 55, exiting a store with the bag perched on her arm, noting that a pre-owned version of the bag is priced at $70,000. The video has since gone viral, amassing 1.2 million views and drawing comments about the bag’s hefty price tag.
"Wearing my annual salary," someone replied. "You can find that purse in Fiji for $5 on the street," another comment read.
"Omg the price is ridiculous, the purse is just a strip of leather and the basket is basically some dried corn husk in a braid 🤦🏽♀️😆," someone else wrote.

But while some were quick to jump on the bag's price tag, others argued differently, noting the singer's right to spend her own money.
"How on earth is she still so damn beautiful like wow. And 70k is peanuts to her. She's earned the fortune. And that bag is fire 🔥 😍," one person wrote.
"It's HER money," someone added. "If I had the money I’d buy it too 🥹😅," another comment read.
"She can buy whatever she damn wants too," someone else added. "JLo is gorgeous no matter what anyone says," replied another user.

On Friday, July 26, after returning to Manhattan from celebrating her 55th birthday in the Hamptons, Lopez traded out her bag for a $20,000 cream-colored Hermès Birkin Crocodile bag.
She paired the bag with a tailored blue blazer that she styled over a classic white shirt, along with an effortless bun and a glossy lip.
Aside from the luxury bags, the mom has also been spotted with her $76 Charles & Keith Mini Crescent Hobo Bag, which she was last seen carrying on Mother’s Day, pairing it with a purple floral off-the-shoulder midi dress and wedges.
