Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom waited until Monday to break the news that they’d gotten married in a secret ceremony in Mexico over the weekend. The world—including Theroux’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston—learned about the low-key beach ceremony for the first time via a Vogue profile shared on March 17, from the star-studded guest list to the festivities. While the Friends alumna was reportedly blindsided by the wedding announcement—after all, she and Theroux have been on good terms since their split—she had the most supportive reaction to her ex’s next chapter.

“Jennifer was one of the first ones to congratulate Justin on getting married," a source told the Daily Mail, revealing that The Morning Show actress didn’t know that the wedding was happening but doesn't have any hard feelings. "Yes, it took her by surprise but they have maintained a close friendship, and she is happy for him that he has found true love,” the source added.

The insider revealed that Aniston—who divorced Theroux in 2018 after getting married in 2015—reportedly is a fan of Brydon Bloom. "She cannot help be somewhat reminiscent of what they had together, but she knows what a good man he is, and she thinks that his new wife is wonderful. This gives Jennifer hope that her Prince Charming is out there,” the source added.

Despite the wedding announcement inspiring a walk down memory lane, the source told the publication that Aniston is thriving and doesn’t have any regrets or bad feelings about her ex husbands.

"Nobody should feel bad for Jen. She's fine. She's loved and lost like the rest of us, but her life is still pretty good. If she ends up with anyone down the line, that would be beautiful,” they added. “So whether it is Brad [Pitt] or Justin, she had her chance with them and loved it while it was great. Now she is on a different path as they are in their lives.”

They continued, “She only feels joy for her exes' successes. She's old enough to not cry over spilled milk. If anything is on her mind about Justin it would be, let Justin be happy."

Theroux spoke out about his and Aniston’s split—and subsequent friendship—in a 2021 Esquire interview, confirming that they’ve remained friends. He shared, “We don’t talk every day, but we call each other. We FaceTime. We text.”

While both Aniston and Theroux have stayed mum on the reasons for their divorce since their split, the Mulholland Drive actor confirmed that there were no bad vibes between the exes. “Like it or not, we didn’t have that dramatic split, and we love each other. I’m sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship,” he told the publication at the time. “We can not be together and still bring each other joy and friendship. It would be a loss if we weren’t in contact, for me personally.”
