Jenna Dewan Marks End of Channing Tatum Divorce by Posting That Throwback Nicole Kidman Meme

Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum settled their divorce this week, six years after their breakup

Jenna Dewan signified the end of her divorce with ex-husband Channing Tatum by sharing a meme of Nicole Kidman.

The Rookie actress, 43, reached a settlement with Tatum, 44, this week to finalize their divorce, six years after their 2018 breakup.

On her Instagram Stories Sept. 26, Dewan shared a throwback photo of Kidman taken in 2001 around the time she finalized her split from Tom Cruise. The image has since become a popular internet meme.

Earlier on Sept. 25, Dewan shared photos on Instagram from her life lately with fiancé Steve Kazee and their two kids, Callum, 4, and Rhiannon, 3 months, plus her daughter with Tatum, 11-year-old Everly.

"Thank you universe," she wrote in the caption, which came the same day that the divorce settlement news broke.

Tatum hasn't posted on Instagram since the settlement news, though he honored his fiancée Zoë Kravitz with a cozy post earlier this month celebrating their movie Blink Twice, which she directed.

"I’m so proud to stand ten toes down for her, this film and everyone in it. forever," he wrote, in part. "... Thank you for finding me and seeing me. I got you forever. Me and you back to back against it all. I’ll never blink. Let’s go."

Tatum and Dewan's years-long divorce reached a sticking point over a dispute regarding how they'd divvy up profits from the lucrative Magic Mike franchise, which began during their marriage. The two married in 2009 after meeting as costars on the film Step Up.

Back in April, a source said Dewan wanted her divorce “settled before she gets married again,” even though she and Tatum were declared legally single by a judge in 2019.

At the same time, a source said, “She’s very happy with Steve and would like to marry him. They started planning a wedding for later this year. ... Steve is amazing. They are a great team. He’s a very hands-on and involved dad."
