On Wednesday, Jan. 15, the broadcaster, 43, spoke to the actor, 59, on Today with Jenna & Friends and revealed that her mother Laura Bush’s favorite movie is the star’s 2001 film Zoolander.
The hit comedy, which stars Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell, follows Stiller’s character Derek as he tries to revive his modeling career but is roped into an assassination plot involving Malaysia's prime minister.
"I have to tell Ben something, which is that my mom's favorite movie is Zoolander,” Hager said.
"Oh my god, incredible," Stiller replied excitedly. "I wanted to get her in Zoolander 2, but she was wise, she knew to stay away.”

"We did a screening at the White House, which she invited all of her friends,” Hager continued. “And just this year — she's 78 years old — we were playing a family game and she wrote her favorite movie, everybody else wrote Shawshank and she wrote Zoolander.”
“We love it,” Stiller added.

Ben Stiller in 2001's 'Zoolander'In 2016, the comedian revealed that Bush turned down the offer to make a cameo in an orgy scene in Zoolander 2.
Per The Washington Post, Stiller revealed on Today at the time that he wanted the former first lady to act in the scene alongside costar Owen Wilson, however, Bush politely declined.
“There is a group of people that Hansel, Owen’s character, is having a relationship with — a group of people — and I was going to ask her to be a member of that group,” Stiller said.
“She was so smart to politely say no,” Stiller added.
When asked by then-host Matt Lauer, “You asked Laura Bush to be a part of an orgy scene?” Stiller replied, “You come with the hard-hitting questions, Matt Lauer.”
