After completing his first-ever 5K earlier this month, Jelly Roll is already setting his next fitness goal.

On May 22, the country star’s wife Bunnie Xo posted a TikTok video of his morning workout, swimming laps in their pool with their daughter Bailee.

“Morning exercise, baby!” he cheered before revealing he wants to run another 5K by Thanksgiving.

“I’m going to make an announcement … you ready?” the "Need a Savior" singer told his wife. “5K by Turkey Day, baby!”

Jelly, 39, participated in the 2 Bears 5K with Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. on May 7 — an event he started training for in January.

After the event, Jelly said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he was "a little tired" but "felt great."

"It was a little bit harder than I thought it was [going to be], but it's awesome, man," the musician said.

Bunnie, who also participated in the race, shared a sweet tribute to her husband on her Instagram Stories. The post showed the Dumb Blonde podcast host smiling from ear to ear as she joined her husband inside a cold plunge tub.

"The couples that finish the 5k together cold plunge together 😍," she wrote over the video.

Back in February, Jelly shared with PEOPLE that his "ultimate goal for the 5K" was to lose weight.

"As long as I'm training for this thing, I'm just shedding weight. I've been eating crazy good, so I'm excited," he said at the time.

Jelly later shared that his training paid off, telling PEOPLE in April, "I'm probably down 70-something pounds."

"I've been really kicking ass, man. I'm doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I'm doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I'm eating healthy right now," he said.

The artist noted that feeling "really good" after the lifestyle change also encouraged him to set new health goals.

"I was thinking, I plan on losing another 100, 100-and-something [pounds]. If I feel this good down this weight, man, I can only imagine what I'm going to feel like by the time I go on tour," he told PEOPLE.
