Jax Taylor has support from Tom Sandoval amid his divorce from Brittany Cartwright.
During the Thursday, Oct. 3, episode of his and Cartwright’s When Reality Hits podcast — which Taylor recorded alone — Taylor revealed that he and Sandoval rekindled their friendship. Taylor, 45, answered a few listeners’ questions, including one who asked if Sandoval, 42, had reached out to Taylor after he spent 30 days in a mental health treatment program over the summer.
“Actually, Tom Sandoval has reached out to me more than anybody, and I know people are gonna be shocked by that,” Taylor revealed, adding, “[He was] just checking on me... I was shocked because I [hadn’t] heard from Tom in a long time, and now I probably talk to Tom three or four times a week.”

“I have been hanging out with him a little bit more lately,” Taylor continued. “He comes to the bar, he sings karaoke. You know, he's on tour right now, but I just hung out with him and his mom and his dad, and it was just great to see him.”
“I love Tom, and I will always love him no matter what he does,” he confessed. “He’s my best friend, along with Tom Schwartz. They’re both my best friends.”
“People make mistakes in life, but you gotta move on from it,” Taylor added. “We all gotta forgive each other at some point.” He did not elaborate on his remark about forgiveness.
The pair’s on-and-off again friendship was documented in the first eight seasons of Vanderpump Rules. Mmore recently, Taylor made several disapproving comments on his podcast, Watch What Happens Live and Watch with Brittany Cartwright & Jax Taylor about Sandoval during “Scandoval.” In March 2023, it was revealed that Sandoval had been cheating on his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, with their costar Raquel Leviss.
During the Oct. 3 podcast episode, Taylor addressed his previous comments. “I can't even comprehend what he's gone through. That Scandoval thing was nationwide. And regardless of how you feel about Tom Sandoval, you gotta remember what he went through,” he said.
“He did go through a lot of things. He caused it. He did a very bad thing, but the world just came down on him,” he continued.
In March, Taylor explained to US Weekly that he “did not go after Tom Sandoval about cheating.”
“That had nothing to do with it … Everybody on the show has cheated,” Taylor said. “My anger issue was how Sandoval handled it afterward. He didn’t stay here. He didn’t take the bullets."
