As People reported, Francesca starred in a holiday ad campaign for Gap when she was just 2, appearing on a billboard in Hollywood.

In 2018, Bateman opened up about accidentally spilling the beans about Santa Claus to his young daughter during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Apparently, Francesca brought up the Easter Bunny during a ride to the airport, asking her father a pointed question.

"[She said,] 'Daddy, here's what I don't understand. Bunnies don't lay eggs, right?'" Bateman recalled. "And I'm like, 'That's true.' And she said, 'So I'm having a hard time putting a couple things together here.' And I said, 'What's the problem?' And she said, 'The Easter-egg Bunny: Not real, right?'"

Bateman eventually caved, admitting that the Easter Bunny wasn't real—and revealing the truth about Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy in the process.

In more recent years, Bateman said, he and Francesca have bonded over watching episodes of his award-winning series Ozark, which he called a "big deal."
