Reality star dumped after husband shoots and kills family dog

Reality star Janelle Eason has reportedly been fired from Teen Mom 2 after her husband allegedly shot and killed their dog.

The 27-year-old MTV star was at their North Carolina home last week when David Eason apparently brought their dog, Nugget, into the woods and shot him.

Now, a spokesperson from MTV has told TMZ that they’ve ‘stopped filming with Janelle’.

"We have stopped with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season,” the spokesperson said.

"MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has no filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since."

According to TMZ, David’s contract came to an end over homophobic comments he made.

It comes after Janelle said she was considering divorce over David’s alleged actions.

“He just took her and shot her in the woods… about two acres away from the house,” the reality star told Us Weekly.

Janelle said she was ‘distraught’ over the death of her beloved dog and divorce might be on the cards.

“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids,” she said.

“[Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalised.”

The couple introduced Nugget to the world in August 2018, with a photo showing him looking out the car window.

Janelle has taken to her social media account since the incident, saying she’s ‘crying everyday’.

“I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless,” she said in an Instagram post, alongside an image of herself and Nugget.

“You were my sidekick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons.

“Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed... you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back.”

Janelle and David tied the knot at their North Carolina home in 2017.

They are parents to two-year-old Ensley and Janelle has two kids from Jace, nine, and Kaiser, four, from previous relationships.
