About

What I’m Up To

I lead the editorial strategy for the Hearst Lifestyle Group, which includes Good Housekeeping, Country Living, Woman’s Day, and Prevention. Across platforms, we reach millions of people every month with trusted advice, product recommendations, and inspiring ideas for living well — no matter your lifestyle, household, or budget. I also serve as Editor-in-Chief of Good Housekeeping, where I’m proud to champion one of the most iconic and trusted brands in media.

How I Got Here

I started my career in fashion and design and co-founded a pop culture magazine called Venue in the mid-90s — an experience that taught me how to build something meaningful from the ground up. Since then, I’ve led a range of lifestyle brands, including Style at Home, Wish, and Glow, learning how to connect across categories like health, beauty, food, and home — and across platforms from print to digital to video.

In 2013, I moved from Toronto to New York to lead Good Housekeeping. Over the past decade, we’ve evolved the brand into a true modern lifestyle destination — while continuing to build on its legacy of trust, science, and service. At the heart of that mission is the Good Housekeeping Institute and our rigorous product testing, which powers our recommendations and the GH Seal — a symbol of quality assurance that’s earned, not bought.

My personal mandate for Good Housekeeping is simple: to help YOU create the home YOU want. Whether that means finding the right mattress, the best budget cookware, a reliable vacuum, or a small solution that makes life easier, we test and report with one goal in mind — helping people make confident choices that work for them and their families.

Originally from Canada, I now live in New York with my husband and teenage son. My wardrobe and my home are mostly black, white and sand, but I’m a sucker for a pop of color. I’m more likely to bake than cook — usually something fun I found on Pinterest or from a wooden box in my kitchen, filled with recipe cards handwritten by my mom. I unwind with British detective shows and oversized crochet projects — and I believe the best kind of home is one that reflects you.

The Fine Print (That Really Matters)

I take the trust of our readers seriously — it’s the foundation of everything we do. I believe in transparency, integrity and maintaining a clear line between editorial and advertising. At Good Housekeeping and across the Lifestyle Group, we don’t accept gifts, money or perks from the brands we cover. Our product recommendations are based on rigorous testing, real-life insight and the expertise of our editors, scientists and writers — not paid placement.

As a leader, I’m proud to champion the kind of journalism that helps people make confident, informed choices for their homes and their lives.
