"Domestic violence is a silent epidemic," says Sabina Belli, the CEO of Pomellato. "Let us work towards a future where domestic violence is no longer a shadow over our homes," adds the Oscar-winning actress and activist Jane Fonda. "Accountability must be non-negotiable." These quotes form part of a galvanising new video campaign for International Women's Day 2025, an urgent message calling for collective responsibility and action against violence. It's the latest compelling new chapter from the ongoing Pomellato for Women initiative.

This is the luxury jewellery brand's eighth annual video campaign, which also features the actress, director and producer America Ferrera; the actress and founder of the NGO The Joyful Heart Foundation Mariska Hargitay; the Olympic athlete Mattia Furlani; the actress Laura Harrier; and the renowned professor of experimental biology Gianvito Martino.

As the video goes on to detail, one in three women is a victim of domestic violence – the cruel reality of which is often shrouded in a spiral of silence, with women fearful of not only their abuser's violence but also society's judgment. Many face a devastating choice between speaking up and reliving their trauma, or remaining voiceless.

The video breaks down the vital course for change in three steps: "We speak out. We break the silence. We listen to survivors." The ensemble cast collectively encourage everyone to be a "social sentinel – watchful, compassionate and unafraid to step in." Ferrera stresses that "justice must be clear, visible and enforced" in order to help encourage women to come forward, and Belli reassures survivors: “You are not alone.”

The video campaign culminates with a unified voice emphasising that "there is hope; there is help," and Hargitay concludes the message with a powerful vision: "One day, when we look back, we will know that this was the moment we chose to rewrite history."
