Jamie Lee Curtis is having a "cryday" on a Friday.

The Freaky Friday star, 65, shared an emotional post to Instagram on Friday, Aug. 16, reflecting on the "last Friday" on set of her upcoming movie Freakier Friday as filming on the Disney sequel wraps in the coming days.

In Curtis’ caption for a selfie, the Oscar winner got sentimental about her time filming with her "ultimate movie daughter," Lindsay Lohan.

"The last FRIDAY of this FREAKIEST FRIDAY or shall I call it CRYDAY," Curtis wrote. "We still have a couple days left next week, but it's winding down and this morning as I arrived at work and looked at the hundreds of people gathering together to make it for the fans, shooting the movie in California, I'm feeling especially grateful to my ULTIMATE movie daughter, @lindsaylohan without whom we could not have made this movie. Ever."

"She gifted me a @suziekondi shirt after I complimented her on hers and I wore it today in honor of her. Off to wig and work," Curtis added. "Thanks for all the @disneyd23 LOVE! It was LEGENDARY!"

Curtis' posts comes just days after she and Lohan appeared at Disney’s D23 fan event on Aug. 9, when they spoke about the sequel to their 2003 body-swap film. The pair are set to reprise their roles as Anna and Tess Coleman for the 2025 film.

Also this week, Lohan and Curtis teamed up once more to take part in a viral social media trend, in which they had some fun with the "demure" trend. In the clip, Lohan and Curtis can be seen driving in a car, as Lohan says, "Straight hair, very demure." Curtis then chimes in while showing off her seatbelt, "Wearing a seatbelt, very mindful."

The post, which they shared as a joint Instagram upload, calls back to creator Jools Lebron's TikTok video on how she presents herself as "demure" when at work. The viral word is defined as a person who is modest or reserved, per Merriam-Webster, and can also refer to a way of dressing modestly.

And even outside of taking part in viral trends, Lohan and Curtis are promoting their new film by revealing who they'd want to Freaky Friday-style swap places with. Speaking with PEOPLE at the D23 event in Anaheim, Calif., Lohan shared that she'd trade places with her son, Luai Shammas, 1, whom she shares with husband, Bader Shammas.

"Just to see — because he is, so pure and just so happy, just to see life through his eyes, every day. He’s just this beautiful bundle of joy. I can’t think of anything else," she said.

Curtis, on the other hand, had her sights set on trading bodies with a professional athlete. "I wanna be Caitlin Clark for a day. I wanna play basketball like Caitlin Clark," the actress said of the WNBA star, adding, "She's my lucky number, 22."

Curtis also told PEOPLE that Freakier Friday is "a love letter to mothers and daughters."

"It's so beautiful to see the three generations in this," Lohan added. "It's so beautiful to see how Anna looks to Tess for advice. But then Tess still wants to kind of come in and give out the advice. And Anna has become a little bit like Tess in a way very much in this ... which is what happens in life. You always become a little bit like your mom!"
