‘Jack Ryan’: Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, JJ Feild And Betty Gabriel Join John Krasinski In Amazon MGM Studios Movie

EXCLUSIVE: Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, JJ Feild and Betty Gabriel have joined John Krasinski in the cast of the new Jack Ryan movie at Amazon MGM Studios. Also on board are Sienna Miller and Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly, returning cast from Amazon’s Prime Video series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Gabriel also appeared in the third and fourth seasons of the series.

Capitalizing on the success of the series, the film marks the next stage in the evolution of the franchise and is produced in association with Paramount Pictures and Skydance. Krasinski and Allyson Seeger are producing via Sunday Night. Andrew Form is also producing.

Andrew Bernstein, who served as an executive producer and director on Season 2 of the series, is directing the film from a script penned by Aaron Rabin and Krasinksi. Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg are executive producing alongside John Kelly, Carlton Cuse and Clancy (posthumously).

The film will be an extension of Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Skydance’s original series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, starring Krasinski based on the characters created by Clancy. Following the release of the final two episodes of the fourth and final season, Jack Ryan saw a significant 1.15 billion minutes of viewing per Nielsen. Through four seasons to date, it ranks among Prime Video’s three most-watched series globally.

On the TV side, Beesley’s recent credits include Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen for Netflix and Hijack for Apple TV+. In film, he recently starred in Ritchie’s Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre for Lionsgate alongside Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza and Hugh Grant.

Hodge is known for films including Joker, Gemini Man, The Report and Red Sparrow. He will next be seen in the film G20 with Viola Davis for Amazon MGM. Recent television credits include The Great, Black Mirror, Lost In Space, Catastrophe and Penny Dreadful. He is represented by United Agents and Innovative Artists.

Feild recently wrapped filming the limited series Little Disasters for Paramount+. Television credits include The Peripheral and The Romanoffs for Amazon MGM, Netflix’s Lost in Space and Turn Up Charlie, and NBC’s New Amsterdam. Film credits include EMU Films’ Prisoner of Paradise, the Oscar-nominated Ford v. Ferrari and the Captain America franchise. Feild is represented by Roger Charteris and Taylor Jefferson at The Artists Partnership.

Gabriel is known for her performance in Jordan Peele’s Oscar-nominated Get Out and recently starred in Apple TV+’s Manhunt. She is next set for Paramount Pictures’ Novocaine opposite Jack Quaid and Matt Walsh, and Legion M’s thriller Fade to Black. Gabriel is represented by Gersh, Untitled Entertainment and Jackoway, Austen.
