Yahoo Lifestyle J.Lo and Matt Damon Hold Hands, Have a “Long, Deep Conversation” at ‘Unstoppable’ Premiere
Jennifer Lopez attended the premiere of Unstoppable on Friday night, showing up in a nearly naked revenge dress and looking absolutely incredible. And while producer Ben Affleck skipped the premiere anymore for reasons that are probably obvious, his co-producer Matt Damon showed up—and was spotted having a sweet heart-t0-heart with J.Lo.
The pair were photographed holding hands mid-conversation (Page Six has the pic) and it doesn’t take a body language expert to notice that the vibes were pretty serious as J.Lo spoke to Matt and he looked into his lap while listening.
According to People, J.Lo was sitting at a table with Don Cheadle and Lucia Damon when Matt joined them. He and J.Lo ended up having a 20-minute long conversation. “Jen and Matt began talking and had a long, deep conversation,” a source told the outlet, saying that they were spotted laughing before the conversation turned more serious.
The Unstoppable premiere was J.Lo’s first official public appearance since filing for divorce from Ben Affleck on their second wedding anniversary. The decision came after an entire summer of speculation and rumors, but things seemed to reach a dramatic peak when Ben bought a bachelor pad on Jen’s birthday. Even so, divorce docs show they’ve actually been separated since April 2024 when Ben moved out of their shared home while J.Lo was in L.A.
As an insider told People, “Ben began moving his things out of their shared home while Jennifer was in New York in April, effectively blindsiding her. He wouldn’t answer texts or calls.”
As of now, neither Ben nor Jen have made a public comment about their split.
