Yahoo Lifestyle J.Lo Actually “Isn't Bothered” by Those Ben and Jen Pics, After All
There's been some drama with Ben Affleck and his ex wives, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner. At least, that's what multiple reports are telling us. (The three super stars are far too busy to update us normies on their personal lives right now, let's be real.) So it's no surprise that conflicting reports are emerging. The latest in the Ben and Jen and Jen saga comes from a source, who claimed to People that J.Lo “isn't bothered” by it “at all.”
You'll recall what started it all: the pics of Ben and Jennifer laughing and hugging at their son's paintball birthday party earlier this month. TBH, photos like these are not uncommon. Ben and Jennifer may have divorced in 2018, but they are frequently photographed together at family events or gatherings—they do share three children, after all. This time, however, they were accompanied by reporting suggesting that Ben was interested in getting back together. Or maybe he's not? (Regardless, Jennifer is reportedly not interested.)
Needless to say, the photos sparked a frenzy of celebrity gossip, with various sources have been going back and forth abotu what's really going on and how Jennifer's current boyfriend, John Miller, is reacting to the pics (hint: not well, apparently). But perhaps most interesting was a report that J.Lo was feeling “betrayed” by the pics. “She invested so much time in supporting Ben through his challenges and had a rough year as their marriage broke down. Seeing how quickly he has started spending more time with Garner has exacerbated the concerns she already had about his relationship with her while they were married,” a source told The Daily Mail.
Well, now a new source wants us to know that it's actually quite the opposite. “I think the two Jens are great admirers of the other, and I think they're all co-parenting,” a source told People, adding that J.Lo “doesn't feel betrayed.” It's true that the two have always been respectful of each other, and it seems that this might just be another case of celebrity gossip running amok. “There is no animosity. They are friendly,” the source insisted. “People are reading into it in a way to create drama where there is none.”
Whether or not J.Lo is upset by all the drama, it seems she's been busy moving on with her life. She was recently spotted backstage at Oh, Mary! on Broadway, supporting Betty Gilpin. The two are starring together in the upcoming film Office Romance with Brett Goldstein and the romance rumors are already swirling.
