JD Vance Shared The Most Bizarre Tweet Of Him Serving "Food" As Donald Trump's Housewife

The campaign may be over, but it seems the "weird" behavior coming from Vice President-elect JD Vance is far from over.

In his most recent display, Vance tweeted a photo of Norman Rockwell’s 1943 Thanksgiving painting “Freedom from Want” in honor of Thanksgiving. The image, which features a traditional husband and wife serving a turkey to their family on Thanksgiving, is meant to depict a dream of peace, unity, and togetherness that Americans could strive for post-war. However, in JD Vance's world — aka tweet — he pasted Donald Trump's head over the husband and his own over the housewife.

Once this post hit timelines, it quickly spread to over 39.4 million viewers and spawned over 15,000 original comments. As you can imagine, the reactions were wide-ranging.

For the most part, people called the post "embarrassing."

"Nothing any of us can say is gonna beat the fact that he posted this himself," one person wrote.

And many wondered why Vance chose to depict himself as Trump's dutiful housewife.

"What is it about trump that causes the men in his life to behave this way," someone questioned.

Others tried to guess what the post was meant to symbolize — especially considering Vance replaced the turkey with a map of the United States covered in red districts.

"My head cannon for this is Vance is worried about Elon having more influence than him, so he thought posting this weird ass meme would win him favor again," one person guessed. "Which... honestly might work because Trump is vain as hell and loves this stuff."

And finally, there were those who couldn't be bothered to laugh because American politics have become so deeply unserious. "I'm just deeply sad that Americans have put utterly unserious, emotionally stunted people in charge of the very serious, world-impacting business of running our nation," this person said.
