Isla Fisher is speaking out for the first since she and ex-husband Sacha Baron Cohen announced their divorce. In April, the longtime couple revealed that they had gone their separate ways last year, and now, Fisher is thanking her supporters.
"Thank you for all your kindness and support," she wrote in an Instagram Story on Tuesday, per E! News. The photo captured Fisher sitting outside at a table while wearing a purple patterned maxi-dress and a green cargo jacket with black star details.
Last month, the former husband and wife announced their split on Instagram after 13 years of marriage. "After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage," they wrote in the joint statement shared to their Stories. "We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."

The exes officially tied the knot in 2010, but met at a party in 2001 before getting engaged in 2004. In a 2020 interview with The New York Times, Cohen said he "knew instantly" after meeting her. "She was hilarious," he gushed. "We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party."
The two kept their relationship and family life fairly private, however, in a 2022 interview, Fisher spoke about their relationship. "I don't want to stand on a soapbox and advise anybody—if you marry someone that you have a really good friendship with, everything else seems to fall into place," she told E!. "You still get butterflies in your stomach and people sort of tell you that wears off after a few years. But when you're with the right person, actually it just doesn't."
