Insomnia Cookies Is Giving Away Free Treats for National Cookie Day — and Launching 2 New Flavors!

Insomnia Rewards members can snag a free classic Insomnia cookie — and a deluxe cookie for just $1 — on Dec. 4

It’s almost National Cookie Day — and if anyone knows how to celebrate, it’s Insomnia Cookies!

The national bakery chain, known for its late-night bites and extensive cookie collection, is making the already-sweet holiday even sweeter by treating its members — or “Insomniacs” — to some free cookies.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, Insomnia Rewards members can snag a free classic Insomnia cookie — and a deluxe cookie for just $1 — in stores, no purchase required, per a Dec. 2 press release from the chain. However, if you want the free cookie delivered through the Insomnia app, there will still be a minimum purchase cost.

And, if you are not already a member, joining the loyalty program is “100% free,” as the brand noted in its latest Instagram post. Customers can sign up online or in the app by creating an account.

In addition to the festive deal, the chain also unveiled two new limited-edition cookies, the Strawberry Cheesecake Filled Classic and the Red Velvet Cookies 'N Cream Classic, on Dec. 2. The decadent treats will be available to purchase online or at any of Insomnia’s over 300 locations through Dec. 15, while supplies last.

Created by the chain’s 2023 Ultimate Cookie Lover contest winner, Anisha Holla, Strawberry Cheesecake Filled Classic has a brown sugar cookie base containing sweet berries and a cheesecake center, plus crushed graham crackers on top.

A combination of two of the brand’s most iconic — and popular — flavors, the Red Velvet Cookies 'N Cream Classic is a red velvet cheesecake base mixed with crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and vanilla chips.

Insomnia Cookies’ National Cookie Day news comes shortly after the bakery chain announced its Holiday collection, which includes two new festive flavors, Jinglebread Cheesecake and Jelly Doughnut, available to purchase from Dec. 9 to Dec. 29.

Last month, the chain kicked off the end-of-year festivities by adding three limited-edition filled cookies to its menu: the Chocolate Salted Caramel Filled Classic, Cinnamon Bun Filled Classic and Apple Pie Filled Classic.
