Inside Princess Eugenie's carnival-themed wedding party

She got married in a lavish wedding on Friday and Princess Eugenie’s celebrations continued well into the weekend, with a carnival-themed bash held in the grounds of Windsor on Saturday.

The 28-year-old princess, who married Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel on Friday, transformed the Windsor Castle landscape into a festival delight, complete with a Ferris Wheel and a carousel.

Guests of the happy couple were invited to a sit-down brunch, with videos from the event showing a mariachi band serenading everyone as they dined on hangover-friendly food.

Bloody Marys were on hand for those who needed a pick-me-up and for others there were fairground games galore to keep them entertained.

Princess Eugenie even wore her very own biker jacket the day after her wedding, which was embroidered with the words ‘Mrs Brooksbank’ in the Princess’ own handwriting.

The Sam Dougal designed piece was pale pink and glistened in the Autumn sun.

Meanwhile, guests like Irene Forte and Marissa Montgomery took to their Instagram page to post photos from inside the carnival-themed party.

They posed on a carousel in bright frocks, while others posted pictured from atop the Ferris Wheel and the ring toss station.

Guests dazzled as they posed under trees adorned with streams of fairy lights and Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Proudlock even donned a scarf with the couple’s faces on it.

The party came just one day after Princess Eugenie stunned the world when she stepped out of the carriage outside St George’s Chapel and gave us a glimpse of her stunning Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos gown.

The dress featured a neckline that folded around the shoulders to a low back that showed off Eugenie’s scoliosis surgery scar.

That night, Eugenie changed into a breathtaking evening gown, designed by Zac Posen.

Zac embroidered the White Rose of York on both the shoulder and the back, which draped into a cape.
