Insane hand illusion baffles the internet

First we had soccer player Dele Alli’s bizarre post-goal hand celebration that went viral, but now a new hand illusion is sweeping the internet and leaving viewers baffled.

Twitter user Chidera Kemakolam shared a clip of herself intertwining her hands, before she ‘snaps’ them forward and appears to break them apart.

The bizarre movement, which makes it look like she was somehow able to make her hands go through each other, has left people scratching their heads.

“This has to be edited,” one confused person responded in a tweet.

Others quickly pointed out that it was in fact as simple as quickly closing the front hand and opening the back hand. If you achieve the smooth transition you’ll have the illusion down-pat.

Once the technique was made clear, a host of others started sharing their attempts online.
