Why Ines and Sam's MAFS sex scandal makes them walking contradictions
The cheating scandal on Married At First Sight was taken to the next level tonight, when Ines and Sam met up in secret before getting hot and heavy in the bedroom.
The pair’s questionable behaviour seems to be playing very little on their combined conscience, yet what they said during their flirty date tonight then makes them the ultimate walking contradictions of the show.
You see, Sam and Ines are apparently not fans of playing games, but aren’t they essentially playing their TV partners by cheating on them?
“I think I’m quite dominant as a female,” Ines told Sam in tonight’s episode when they discreetly met at a Gold Coast bar for a sneaky drink.
“I agree. I think you are too,” responded Sam. “You know what you want but that’s attractive.”
So far we have some standard flirting – man compliments woman and they propose a toast to “relationships”. Really, guys?
“I find that attractive about you,” Sam then continues.
“You say what you think, you don’t play games. I like to be more direct and honest. I don’t like games, I hate games.”
“Same,” agrees Ines.
Not for a moment do either of these reality stars appear to consider that they’e playing the biggest game of all.
Sam and Ines are not only playing with the hearts of their partners Elizabeth and Bronson, but they’re playing the rest of the MAFS cast and the experts.
And they continue to play with fire as the night progresses.
Ines returns to Sam’s apartment for some more drinks and flirtation, and it’s not long before the pair start kissing on the bed.
Does Ines stay the night? Do the pair have sex? It’s certainly made to seem so but regardless of that, one thing’s for sure – this is one big game that nobody’s going to win.
Married At First Sight continues at 7:30pm on Channel Nine.
