Ilona Maher Reunites With ‘DWTS’ Partner Alan Bersten for First Time Since Finale in 'Jaw-Dropping' New Video

Dancing With the Stars fans still aren't over the fact that Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten aren't on TV every week anymore, so it was a pretty big deal when the pair reunited on social media this week.

In a Dec. 12 TikTok video, the Olympic rugby player approached Bersten from behind as he sat at a table facing away from her.

"Is this seat taken?" she asked.

"I'm holding space for my old dance partner," Bersten answered, still looking away from Maher.

"She sounds amazing," Maher said.

"She was," Bersten agreed, before changing course. "Her voice was this annoying voice," he added before turning around, at which point the pals screamed and hugged each other.

Maher's followers couldn't get over seeing their favorite duo together again.

"You guys I'm sobbing," wrote one person.

"NEVER LEAVE US AGAIN," begged another fan.

"In the clerb we all crying," admitted someone else.

"THE WAY MY JAW DROPPED MY PARENTS ARE BACK," declared a fourth commenter.

Maher recently opened up to Us Weekly about the difference between DWTS and the Olympics, admitting that the Olympics was ultimately more difficult (even though fellow Olympian and DWTS contestant Stephen Nederoscik said the opposite).

“I feel like they’re hyping up Dancing With the Stars,” Maher said. “It was very hard. It was extremely hard. Mentally very hard for me, but in a different way. I think there was just different pressure levels.”

“With the Olympics, this wasn’t just for myself,” she added. “The Olympics was to get a medal for my team, to get a medal for our program so we could continue having a program so young girls could dream about being an Olympian and playing rugby in the U.S. So, that’s pressure.”
