IKEA fans are loving this 'brilliant' boot organiser - here's how you can get it for FREE

Jesinta Franklin is even running to her local IKEA to nab one.

It's funny how your car becomes an extension of your house entrance with everything that you could possibly need thrown into the back.

In fact, almost 80% of Aussies confess to using their car boot for storage and over half (52%) admit to having a messy car boot.

But Swedish flatpack giant IKEA, has come up with an innovative way to get the boot of your car organised and make sure everything has place and can be found easily. And best of all, you can get it for free.

KÖR, which means "drive" in Swedish, is an easy-to-install customisable modular flatpack that Aussies can configure with a multitude of IKEA storage solutions to organise even the most disorganised of spaces and give mess the boot.

IKEA started giving away the limited edition KÖR flatpack solution — because of course — at the beginning of October and it has been such a huge success that Aussies have demanded its return.

With a number of online influencers sharing the ease and convenience of this ingenious solution on their socials, it's no wonder that the product has taken off.

"Oh wow, I am hopefully picking up my new car this week and will have a big boot for the first time! Think I will really need this!" one person commented on a post about the system.

"Great idea 👏 Nothing will go flying around the corner either 🙌🤣," another pointed out.

Even former Miss Universe Australia and wife of AFL Player Lance "Buddy" Franklin, Jacinta, was impressed.

"That is brilliant! I have containers in the boot to keep things organised and they just fly around the place when you’re driving! Influenced! Going to get this," she commented on the post.

Made from recyclable materials, the flatpack comes with six template kits based on Aussies' most common on-the-go storage needs, including the beach lover, sports fan, adventurer, busy parent, pet owner and fashion influencer.

"At IKEA we've been solving storage problems in the home for years, but there was one place left to tackle: the car boot," Christine Gough, Life At Home Expert for IKEA Australia says.

"Here in Australia, we really see the garage and car as an extension of our home, and the car boot so often becomes that hidden space holding life’s on-the-go mess. With three in five Aussies admitting they would benefit from a solution to help keep their car boot more organised, we knew IKEA could help."

Aussies who want to get their hands on one of the last KÖR flatpacks for free can register online via this link for pick up at IKEA Richmond, IKEA Canberra, IKEA Tempe, IKEA North Lakes and IKEA Adelaide, until stocks last.
