Yep, the fan-favorite opened up about the sitch when she responded to an Instagram comment on a clip of her and fellow Golden Bachelor co-star Kathy Swarts's Golden Hour podcast (FYI, in the vid, the two are in the middle of openly discussing Gerry and Theresa's split).

The comment in question? “Why did they break up so quick?”...to which Susan responded, “Neither one of them can leave their families.”

Btw, in the Instagram video that prompted the user’s question, Kathy muses the following about the end of Gerry and Theresa's 'ship: “My heart is broken for them. It is sad. It is tragic. Please, people, be kind. These are our friends. The love didn't work out, but they're great people, and our hearts are breaking for them.”

“Don't give up on the idea of meeting somebody on a show like that,” Susan says in response. “There are so many people out there that are still in love. And I truly believe those two fell in love, right Kathy?”

“I absolutely agree,” the Golden Bachelor alum retorts.

A refresher that Gerry and Theresa announced their divorce on April 12 during an appearance on Good Morning America and revealed that the decision stemmed from issues regarding their living situation.

“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth, and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage,” Gerry began during the bombshell confession.

“We have received so much love and support from so many people who watched The Golden Bachelor, and I don’t think we can tell you how many people told us that it gave them so much hope. We want none of that to change for anybody,” Theresa added.

The former couple then shed some light on how they looked at homes in South Carolina and New Jersey before ultimately deciding to call it quits. “We just looked at homes after home, but we never got to the point where we made that decision,” shared Theresa before Gerry added, “We look at these situations, and I think we just feel like it’s best for the happiness of each of us to, to live apart.”

Sad Gerry and Theresa couldn't make it work, but happy they're parting ways on good terms!
