Husky's Incredible Climbing Skills Showcase So Much Brains and Brawn

Huskies are a majestic breed. They possess the athletic ability and energy to pull sleds through the woods and are well-known for their intelligence. Their talkative and spirited personalities only add to their appeal.

This beautiful dog embodies these traits well. She sees her fenced-in enclosure as more of a suggestion than a boundary. However, what's most impressive is what she does when she has freedom in her sights.

Check out this four-legged ninja in action in this video from August 30:

Having an intelligent dog is one thing, but having one as bright as this and one who can also climb like a champ is a little frightening. Thankfully, this good girl from Husky Park Arctic Circle (@huskyparkarcticcircle) understands that she's meant to stay inside her enclosure and jumps back in once she reaches the top instead of heading to freedom. Phew! Apparently, she is more interested in the sport's challenge rather than planning an escape. She's a great example of how clever this breed can be, especially when they combine their high IQ with their boundless energy. While these dogs are beautiful and fun-loving, they require plenty of exercise and safe enclosures to keep them out of harm's way.

A Husky's Larger-Than-Life Personality

According to the AKC, Siberian Huskies are well-known for being skilled escape artists like this pretty girl. Thanks to their intelligence and agility, they have a knack for climbing, digging, and even opening doors if they feel adventurous or bored. They possess extraordinary endurance, with well-conditioned dogs able to pull sleds for up to 100 miles daily at speeds of 30 mph. Thanks to their thick double coat, they can stay warm in temperatures well below zero. They are also quite talkative and communicate with various sounds, including howls, yowls, and unique noises, often engaging in lengthy conversations with their humans.

This bold athlete entertained people. Viewer @faycelkouteib responded, "The pause and look before jumping off. She wants you to know she can leave and chooses to stay. Lol, make no mistake about it." That seemed to be her message. Viewer @shayshale remarked, "I love that I have a 3-foot fence, and my Husky has no clue that any of this is possible. I will not get another one because I'm confident that one will teach him." They always show each other the way. Viewer @girl_with_marker responded, "She just needed a better view." Ha! She got one!

With sledding season just around the corner, this pretty girl should be able to expend some of her boundless energy. However, that doesn't mean she'll stop climbing fences anytime soon.
