Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Share a Kiss in Car at L.A. In-N-Out Drive-Thru After Stepping Out for Dinner Date

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are enjoying their time together.

Jackman, 56, and his Music Man costar Foster, 49, were seen sharing a kiss inside of a car at an In-N-Out restaurant in the San Fernando Valley on Sunday, Jan. 5, newly published photos obtained by The Daily Mail show. The sighting came one day before the pair were photographed spending a low-key dinner date night out in Santa Monica, Calif., on Monday, Jan. 6.

Earlier on Saturday, Jan. 4, Jackman attended one of the final performances of Foster's Once Upon a Mattress at Los Angeles’ Ahmanson Theatre. Carol Burnett, who played Foster’s role in the original 1959 production, joined Jackman for the performance.

Jackman and Foster's relationship comes after both actors went through break-ups of their respective marriages in recent years. Jackman issued a joint statement with ex-wife Deborra-lee Furness in September 2023 announcing their split after 27 years of marriage, while Tony Award-winner Foster filed for divorce in October from husband Ted Griffin following 10 years of marriage.

Foster and Jackman, who costarred in the 2022 hit revival of The Music Man, have spoken highly of each other and of their collaboration on the classic musical, which ran on Broadway from December 2021 to January 2023.

While speaking to PEOPLE at the 2024 Drama Desk Awards in June, Foster shared, "He's one of the greatest guys ever, an incredible costar." During a joint appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers to promote The Music Man in May 2022, the actress said, "The show is so joyful, and I’m having the time of my life playing opposite this guy."

Jackman is set to return to the stage for a series of live concerts at Radio City Music Hall. Titled "From New York, with Love," performances kick off in New York City on Jan. 24.
