How to be free all summer long

After two years of restrictions and cancelled plans, this summer is shaping up to be one to remember. Put some plans in place now to ensure it’s everything you want it to be. Here’s how to set yourself up to feel truly free this summer.

Boost your annual leave

There’s nothing like the feeling of a long holiday stretching in front of you – and it’s even better when you don’t have to eat into your annual leave to feel the freedom. In 2023, you can turn four annual leave days into a nine day break. Book January 23, 24, 25 and 27 off work, and you’ll get the public holiday and two weekends either side of those dates – giving you a nine day stretch of holidays. Yes please.

Have a plan

If you’re used to your days being scheduled to the minute, the freedom of a long break can feel overwhelming. Putting a loose plan in place for each day can help give some direction so you’re able to enjoy your time off, rather than aimlessly wondering what to do each day. Write a summer bucket list to help you focus on the activities you love doing, then enjoy knowing you’ll have the time and freedom to tick them off.

Wear comfy contacts

Precision1™️ and Precision1™️ for Astigmatism Contact Lenses are designed specifically for people who want to embrace the freedom of life. That’s because you can wear them for 16 hours straight and still be totally comfortable – making them a great choice for travelling, festivals, partying, or simply hanging out and seeing where life takes you. Each lens is made with exclusive SMARTSURFACE® Technology, which keeps moisture on the lens surface. This gives you precise vision with extra comfort, so your eyes stay free for hours on end.

Travel light

Nothing says freedom like throwing a backpack on and heading off an adventure. Keeping your luggage light means you can be spontaneous without being weighed down. Precision1™️ and Precision1™️ for Astigmatism Contact Lenses are daily disposable lenses that come in a small individual blister pack. Easy to pack, easy to wear, and easy to take on the move.

Budget

Freedom might mean splurging a bit more than usual, but you’ll ruin the feeling if you’re worried about your spending catching up with you after the holidays. Before your break, put some money aside in a special holiday fund. Then you can spend without worrying about eating into your savings or your day-to-day cash flow.

Switch off

The feeling of freedom doesn’t come from being tethered to your phone. People who take a one-week break from social media show significant improvements in wellbeing, depression, and anxiety than those who continue to use social media, according to a university study. So this summer, put your phone down, soak up the sunshine, and see just how free you feel.

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE.
