Everybody is always looking for makeup that's not only stunning, but is also long-lasting with great coverage. Yahoo Lifestyle recently talked to the Head of Makeup at Home and Away, Laura Vazquez, about which products she loves to use on the cast and why.
The celebrity makeup artist notes that the cast are often in quite natural makeup looks, saying: “We have the most beautiful cast members on the show, they’re all naturally blessed. It’s mainly just a foundation, a lip gloss, mascara and a bit of blush.”
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation - $105
Laura believes that a good foundation is ‘important’, as all the female cast on the show wear a base. The two brands that offer the cast long-lasting wear and great coverage are the Giorgio Armani and Nars foundations. The Giorgio Armani foundation is weightless and has quickly become a cult classic.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Illuminating Anti-aging Concealer - $43
The makeup artist’s top tip for our readers is to use a good concealer. “We all get tired and sometimes we get bags under our eyes, so a good concealer [is needed],” she says. This particular product is long-lasting and provides a full coverage finish. Laura loves the IT Cosmetic concealers, and Adore Beauty has a huge range of options — including one that hides breakouts.
Nak Fixation Finishing Spray - $9.99
The Nak hair brand is another favourite of Laura’s, and you can find their products on Oz Hair and Beauty, including this handy little spray. This product is water-free but can help set any style in place, without drying out your hair. We also love how small this 100g spray is, as you can easily carry it with you when travelling.
