Inside Home and Away couple's secret Aussie wedding ceremony

Home and Away stars James Stewart and Sarah Roberts tied the knot in a fairytale wedding in Ireland last month, but what many fans may not know is that the couple also celebrated with a ceremony in Sydney just before heading abroad for their official nuptials.

Photos inside their Aussie celebrations show James and Sarah exchanging rings in the presence of a celebrant, before sharing a passionate kiss in front of their close family and friends.

Gorgeous bride Sarah wore a beautiful silk white dress imprinted with a subtle floral design, while her hair was worn out in loose waves for the big day.

Her stunning bridal look was all thanks to Home and Away makeup artist Laura Vazquez, who shared some behind-the-scenes snaps from the event.

“Before Princess @__sarahroberts__ went to Ireland to get married to her Prince @__jamesstewart__ in a magical castle far away. They had a Sydney Australia ceremony that I was asked to be a part of,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Loved doing your hair and makeup for this special occasion Sarah and what a beautiful day it was.”

Afterwards, the loved-up pair said ‘I do’ in a stunning ceremony at Luttrellstown Castle, just outside Dublin in Ireland. It’s the same venue where David and Victoria Beckham tied the knot in 1999.

Surrounded by their loved ones, Sarah and James made it official, with the bride wearing a stunning jewelled strapless gown by Australian designer, Alin Le' Kal.

The pair met on the set of Home and Away and made their relationship Instagram official in January 2018, with James sharing a photo of the both of them smiling, alongside a simple love heart emoji.

Less than one year later, in December 2018, James uploaded a snap of a delighted looking Sarah to his social media account, showing the stunning actress wearing a huge pear-shaped diamond ring, alongside the caption: “She said Yes.” They were engaged.

James previously dated fellow Home and Away star, Isabella Giovinazzo, before meeting Sarah.

He was also engaged to his Packed To The Rafters co-star, Jessica Marais, for five years before they split in 2015.

James and Jessica have a five-year-old daughter together, called Scout.
