Was there a hidden message in Fergie's weird hand gestures?
Sarah Ferguson was the proud mother-of-the-bride at her youngest daughter Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding on Friday, and some have argued it was her grand comeback into the royal spotlight that stole the show.
She arrived at St. George’s Chapel in an emerald green wrap dress by Emma Louise, a large green wide brimmed hat complete with bow, and a huge smile. Waving at friends and fans as she walked up to the chapel steps with daughter Princess Beatrice. She even gave the crowd a fist pump at the top.
The internet it seems, however, couldn’t get enough of Fergie’s enthusiastic facial expressions and hand gestures.
Some leaving many wondering what they meant.
One in particular, which occurred shortly after she took her place in the front row of the pews, caught the attention of a host of Twitter users.
Fergie lifted her hand and used her index finger to do what looked like a small wave, but it also had similarities to The Shining‘s famous ‘redrum’ (murder spelt backwards) scene.
Others thought it might have been a cheeky reference to her former husband Prince Andrew, who she would eventually have seated next to her.

Fergie and Beatrice walked down the aisle together, which was an interesting choice considering Beatrice was her sister’s maid of honour. It’s believed she accompanied her mum instead of the bride to provide her with a little moral support.
The look of relief on her face when she took her front-row seat in the pews said it all. And she made sure to take the time to point and wave at all the important people seated across from her.
Her over the top expressions and obvious excitement about being where she was won her lots of love from royal fans around the world.
Here are some more of the best reactions.

Early bitching about Fergie starting: "Who's in this car? It's someone with a MASSIVE hat." "Must be Sarah Ferguson."
