After Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively's lawyers met in court on Monday, a source said how the latter is handling things.

In December, Blake filed a lawsuit alleging that Justin had sexually harassed her on the set of It Ends with Us — and then orchestrated a "smear campaign" in retaliation. Justin subsequently denied the allegations and filed his own lawsuit against Blake and others associated with her.

It's worth noting that in the aftermath, Blake has been the subject of viral misogyny, such as through baseless TikToks claiming that she was a woman scorned over her romantic feelings for Justin.

So, what came of yesterday's court case? The topic of how much the lawyers of either side have been talking to the press came up, as it might effectively poison the jury pool. For example, Justin's team launched a whole website to present his version of events — which neither Blake's lawyers nor the judge was too pleased with.

The 90-minute hearing was just a snapshot of what will come in the May 2026 trial. In it, Justin's lawyer claimed that his "clients are devastated financially and emotionally."

It's worth noting that Justin has been accused of bankrolling his alleged smear campaign of Blake via billionaire Steve Sarowitz. The latter is accused of saying he

Afterward, a source told People, "Blake is surprisingly calm and just tries to focus on family life."

"She's in constant contact with her team. She sees the whole lawsuit drama as a necessary bump, but she's not letting it take away from her main focus, which is her children," they added.
