Rami Malek, Olivia Colman and Green Book score big Oscar wins
The 2019 Academy Awards was a big one for Bohemian Rhapsody, with Oscars going to the flick, including Rami Malek’s gong for Best Actor in a Leading Role. However the muscial movie didn’t win the coveted Best Picture award, which went to Green Book instead.
Meanwhile Olivia Colman won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award for her performance in The Favourite.
Earlier in the piece, Regina King took out best actress in a supporting role, while Ruth Carter became the first black person to win an Oscar for costume design and Hannah Beachler became the first black person to win for production design.
