Hamilton - Disney+
Fans have gone nuts after Broadway musical Hamilton made its way to Disney+ last week – so nuts, in fact, that it made history this week as the most Tweeted about Broadway show of all time. Hamilton tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton with the show's music drawing heavily from hip hop, R&B, pop and soul music. It also features a number of non-white actors as the Founding Fathers and other historical figures, and is described as being about "America then, as told by America now."
Noughts + Crosses - Binge
Noughts + Crosses is based on the first book in the Noughts and Crosses series by Malorie Blackman and is set in an alternate history where Black "Cross" people rule over white "Noughts". Callum, a Nought, and Sephy, a Cross, were childhood friends as Callum's mother worked as a servant at Sephy's father's house. They meet again as adults and so begins a Romeo and Juliet-style love story.

Joker - Amazon Prime
Missed this one in theatres? Well, now you can watch it from the comfort of your own home! This psychological thriller stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, but not as you probably know him. This origin story follows Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian whose descent into insanity and nihilism inspires a violent counter-cultural revolution against the wealthy in a decaying Gotham City.
Hustlers - Amazon Prime
Jennifer Lopez stars in this crime drama as Ramona, who partners up with fellow stripper Destiny (Constance Wu) to show her the ropes of how to make more money out of the wealthy men that visit the club they work at. However, when the recession hits in 2008, they begin stealing large quantities of money from unsuspecting men by drugging them and running up their credit cards. Trust me, it is a wildly entertaining ride.
