She sent temperature soaring by posting images from her recent sun holiday online but Helena Christensen’s latest snaps have left fans baffled.
The 52-year-old took to her Instagram account to upload two photos, showing her in a purple bandeau bikini top and matching bottoms.
However, fans were left puzzled over the scene, with Helena walking on snow in one snap and crouching down in icy water in the next.
“Ice hole search,” she captioned the photos.
“Why do you do this?” one person asked, with Helena responding: “Health benefits are huge but most of all, I friggin love it.”
At the end of January, Helena uploaded a series of snaps of herself enjoying a beach holiday, where she updated her 780,000 followers with snaps from the getaway.
One snap saw her dressed in a frilly pink bikini, with her hair in tousled curls and around crocheted top over her shoulders.
“Getting more stunning, how's that possible?” one follower commented on the photo.
“Wow! You look absolutely stunning,” another person wrote.
Back in 2017, Helena spilled her beauty secrets to Hello! Magazine, revealing how she maintains her youthful glow.
"Get enough sleep - that is the number one. It's a cliché, but it's true. And I don't drink enough water, so I am always trying to force myself. What else can you do?
"Masks - I love masks. I will wear them all day, go from one to another and let them hydrate my skin if I am at home working, but especially if I am on a plane.
“I do not even know what happens to your skin up there. When you are about to land and your water bottle is crunched up, I mean that is literally what is happening to your intestines - horrible.”
Helena is one of the most successful models in the world, landing one of her first ever campaigns was with Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel in 1989.
She went on to appear in Chris Isaak's Wicked Games video in 1991 and became one of the original supermodels, alongside Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangalista.
