Heather Rae El Moussa Makes Solo HGTV Debut on a Fan-Favorite Show After “Selling Sunset” Exit: WATCH
‘The Flipping El Moussas’ star helps a couple find their dream beach home in Southern California on Thursday’s episode of ‘House Hunters: All Stars’
Heather Rae El Moussa is showcasing her real estate expertise in a way she never has before!
On Thursday’s new episode of House Hunters: All Stars, El Moussa, 36, will be the latest HGTV guest star to help a family find the perfect property on the celeb's own home turf. The show is a spin-off of the original House Hunters which first premiered in 1999 and is a beloved series for many HGTV fans.
As a Southern California luxury real estate agent and resident, El Moussa knows all the best spots to show married couple Elizabeth and Richie who want to find their dream beach house so they can be closer to their son and granddaughter.
In the clip above, The Flipping El Moussas host shows the couple a potential home. And some classic House Hunters commentary ensues.
“This is it?” Richie asks, followed by Elizabeth questioning, “Where’s my restroom?” El Moussa responds, “Your restroom is across the hall, and you do not have your walk-in closet.”
In a confessional-style clip, Elizabeth admits that not having a full primary suite is a “big problem” for the couple as they value privacy. Richie adds that they expected to have to downsize in order to find a place by the beach and El Moussa suggests they see the rest of the house before making a decision.
El Moussa’s appearance on House Hunters: All Stars marks her first solo appearance on an HGTV series. She already stars on The Flipping El Moussas alongside her husband Tarek El Moussa. The pair are currently filming season two.
The renovation series follows the couple as they completely transform houses together and shares an inside look at their home life with their kids. Heather and Tarek share 14-month-old son Tristan together, and Heather is also stepmom to Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8, whom Tarek shares with his ex-wife Christina Hall.
Season 1 premiered in March 2023 around the same time that Heather revealed she had not been called back to continue filming season 7 of Selling Sunset after her maternity leave. She was a series regular on the Netflix docudrama since its first season in 2019.
"Season 7 is filming right now, but I've been off maternity leave and I've been excited to get back to work and so far I have not been called back," she shared in a March 2023 interview with Adrienne Bailon and Keltie Knight for E! News
When Bailon asked how Heather felt about that, she responded: "It's been a little frustrating. So [I'm] not sure what's been going on." She adds, "I've been there from the pilot, from the beginning.

"I love being able to prioritize my family and my happiness and step away from some of the drama that Selling Sunset brought into my life," she told PEOPLE.
"But I can just film with my husband now, drama-free," she added. "I mean, the dramas in the houses, it's not with the people. And that is so incredible that I don't have to worry about fighting with a girl if I go to work."
In December, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Heather would not be returning at all to the Netflix show in its eighth season.
House Hunters: All Stars airs Thursday, April 4 at 8 p.m. ET on HGTV.
