Heads Up Hallmark Fans, the Network's "Christmas in July" Movie Event Starts Tonight
As the start of summer brings sweltering heat that encourages staying in with the AC and a good movie on, Hallmark is here to bring the chill in a way fans will absolutely love. The network is getting ready to embrace one of their biggest times of the year, and it's coming quite a few months earlier than expected.
We're talking about Hallmark's annual "Christmas in July" event. The TV network is celebrating the holiday season ahead of winter, with five movies airing Saturday nights throughout the month of July. Each film invokes the spirit of Christmas, whether by revisiting old favorites like Three Wise Men and a Baby or exploring new stories with heartfelt happy endings. If that wasn't enough, this epic lineup will have everyone ready for Hallmark's annual "Countdown to Christmas" event, which we already know is going to be memorable with Lacey Chabert and When Calls the Heart star Erin Krakow involved.
So, grab some hot cocoa (or make frozen hot chocolate!) and get ready to turn on Hallmark, because there are new movies to enjoy.
How to watch Hallmark's Christmas in July movies:
Fans can tune in to Hallmark every Saturday starting June 29 at 8 p.m. ET to watch all the holiday-inspired films.
If you don't have cable TV but still want to watch the "Christmas in July" movies in real-time, there are streaming sites that offer a live component. Sling, Philo, FuboTV and YouTube TV are all great options to choose from, but you'll want to create profiles for the sites ahead of the premieres.
If you want to wait until you can watch Hallmark's "Christmas in July" movies on your own time, Peacock will have them all available to stream the day after they air on TV. The site has plans that start at $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year, and once you have an account, go to the Hallmark hub on the Peacock website or on the Peacock app.
