Harry and Meghan break tradition with adorable Christmas card
Harry and Meghan’s first Christmas card as a family of three has been revealed and there’s a very clear star of the show.
Front and centre in the family snap is a rare glimpse of baby Archie, in a move sure to delight fans, but that departs from the traditional royal Christmas cards of the past.
The adorable snap shows Archie in the foreground with a very cheeky pursed-lip to the camera, while his ecstatic parents giggle in the background.
The curious toddler stares down the barrel of the camera, seeming to have hit the crawling milestone to approach the camera by himself.
The casual photo has the homespun, modern quality that has always set Harry and Meghan apart, as well as the black and white colouring that defined so many of the early photos of Archie the pair shared.
Traditionally a royal family Christmas card has been a more conventional family shot, like the sweet snap shared by Kate and Wills last week.
Not yet available on official royal accounts, the adorable photo was shared by The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, a charity supported by Harry and Meghan.
“Just sharing the sweetest Christmas Card from our President and Vice-President, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Very Merry Christmas, everyone!” the post read.
The snap comes in at the last minute after much speculation as to when, and if, the Sussex royals would be sharing a family snapshot to mark the holidays.
