Hallmark Fans, "Countdown to Christmas" Officially Begins Tonight
Who's ready to deck the halls and put on the Christmas music? The holiday season is quickly approaching, and we have Hallmark to thank for getting us into the holiday spirit. The network's annual "Countdown to Christmas"movie event is officially here, and we're ready to watch 41 new movies invoking our love for all things merry and bright!
For the 2024 holiday season, viewers can tune in on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and enjoy 32 brand-new movies on the Hallmark Channel starting October 18 at 8 p.m. ET. But wait — there's more! Hallmark Mystery is also here to invoke the spirit of Christmas, with nine movies airing as part of their "Miracles of Christmas"marathon every Thursday beginning October 24 at 8 p.m. ET. Meaning: we're going to have two months to get ourselves ready for the colder weather, and it'll certainly be the most wonderful time of the year.
Now, we know the news of Hallmark's Christmas movie lineup is thrilling. But what makes it even more exciting are the amount of well-loved actors taking part in the TV tradition. From Lacey Chabert starring in her 40th (!) Hallmark movie to When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing reuniting for their first project since Daniel's exit, it's sure to be one exciting year. Heck, even Chris McNally and Kevin McGarry are starring in their own holiday films, and we know those are bound to be exciting as well.
