We love it when fashion and functionality marries up to give us a trend that serves to be more than just stylish. The latest practical *and* pretty look we're currently obsessing over? Triangle scarves. And for good reason.
Given the baltic temperatures we're currently suffering through, a scarf is a must-have in our winterwear arsenal right now. But, rather than the blanket scarves that reigned supreme this time last year, the preferred silhouette du jour is a shorter, triangle-shaped design. The Rhode founder was an early champion of the granny headscarf. Attending Coachella back in April, Hailey was spotted repping a leopard-print bandana knotted under her chin throughout the festival. Now, for winter, she's updated the look with a larger knitted camel style.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the wife of Justin Bieber shared a mirror selfie with the scarf perched atop her brunette tresses and loosely tied around her face in a half-undone knot. The design coordinated perfectly with the short-sleeve, round-neck cropped rib knit top she had on, finishing her outfit with a pair of low-rise brown tailored trousers.
According to the Tartan Blanket Company, triangle scarves are the brand's bestselling scarf category, up 1,443 per cent from this time last year.
