'Hacks' Star Hannah Einbinder Shares Unexpected Health Update After 'Crazy Stomachache'
Hannah Einbinder is opening up about a rather uncomfortable set of symptoms she experienced after a trip to New York earlier this year.
The 29-year-old comedian and actress appeared on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week, during which she recalled the unfortunate series of events that unraveled the last time she was invited onto the ABC program.

"The last time you were here, you were secretly not feeling well," host Jimmy Kimmel began in a clip from the Dec. 1 episode that was later shared on the show's official Instagram page.
"I was ill, Jimmy. That's right," Einbinder said confidently before setting up the scene related to her June 2024 appearance on the late night talk show.
"So I had a crazy stomachache the last time I did this show," she shared. "I was doubled over in pain, truly."
"The next morning, I would go on to test positive for E. coli," Einbinder revealed as a dramatic music track subtly played in the background. She later explained it was really "bad" and took her almost a whole week to recover.
"Well, you kept it together," Kimmel, 57, said, clearly impressed.
Assuring him that "it was insane," she went on to reenact her position moments before she stepped out onto the stage, which apparently saw her hunched over, trying to ease the immense discomfort from behind the curtain.
"I was hunched over completely in pain, and all I heard was like, 'Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Hannah Einbinder,'" she recalled, demonstrating the sudden change in her demeanor when it came time for her appearance.
"You are a pro," Kimmel praised. "I didn't know that at all. If I had known, I would've probably brought it up [at the time]. It's probably best I didn't know."
Apparently eager to make up for lost time, Kimmel then displayed a photo of the Emmy-nominated actress during that interview, suggesting she "had quite a grip" on the chair.
"I can see you're much more relaxed [this time] than you were [in the picture]," he concluded.
Einbinder was up for the gimmick, quipping, "You see that? This is a well person," pointing at the image behind her, "That is sickness."
As for how she got exposed to the illness-causing bacteria, she's not totally sure. "I was in New York, I probably touched the pole on the train and licked my hand. Classic stuff," she joked.
