Gracie Abrams Brings Bridal Wear to the Red Carpet in Custom Chanel Dress at the Grammys 2025 Red Carpet

Gracie Abrams put forth a new entry in the department of bridal-inspired looks at the Grammys. The music artist arrived at the Grammys 2025 in a wedding-ready dress, complete with a veil.

Abrams, who was up for best pop duo/group performance with “us.,” her collaboration with Taylor Swift, wore custom Chanel for the occasion. Her bridal look consisted of a built-in veil and a train. Abrams’ off-the shoulder dress was sculpted from butter yellow chiffon and featured ruching with a flower at the center of the bodice.

Abrams completed the look with a pair of black pointed-toe heels that played off the black belt around the dress, Chanel Signature de Perles earrings, and a Coco crush diamond ring. Abrams’ look was curated by Spencer Singer, who also styled Billie Eilish in a nautical–inspired Prada look for the Grammys 2025.

Abrams has been favoring white dresses in recent weeks. The “Secret of Us” artist, who opened for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour, chose a white gown by Jacquemus for one of the final shows in December. Abrams took the stage in Vancouver on the second to last night of the Eras Tour while wearing the designer’s La Robe Saudade Longue dress, pairing it with rhinestone-encrusted slingback pumps and sheer black tights.

Meanwhile the recent history of white dresses at the Grammys includes Lizzo wearing a strapless gown by Atelier Versace in 2020, Dua Lipa opting for a white corset and matching maxi skirt by Alexander Wang that same year, and Olivia Rodrigo pulling a vintage white gown from Versace’s archives last year.

Last fall bridal looks were one of the breakout trends at fashion week with designers from Willy Chavarria to Marc Jacobs putting forth takes on it. There were also modern takes on wedding dresses — or wedding separates — at Zimmermann, Dior, Rabanne, Altuzarra, Brandon Maxwell, and Marques’ Almeida.

The Grammys 2025 also brought out Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Olivia Rodrigo, Janelle Monáe, Shakira, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Doechii, Coco Jones, Chappell Roan, Latto, Raye, Kelsea Ballerini, and Jaden Smith and Willow Smith, among others.
