Gordon Ramsay Reacts to Restaurant Owner Sending Out Raw Hamburger on “Kitchen Nightmares”: ‘Disgusting’ (Exclusive)

Ramsay is currently helping a series of New Orleans restaurants improve their business ahead of the Super Bowl in 'Kitchen Nightmares: Road to Super Bowl LIX'

Gordon Ramsay is back for more Kitchen Nightmares — and nothing could be scarier than one restaurant owner's extra-rare hamburgers.

On the newest episode of Kitchen Nightmares, airing Tuesday, Jan. 14, the 58-year-old celebrity chef embarks on a trip to New Orleans, where he visits Iberville Cuisine & Oyster Bar. The struggling French Quarter restaurant is attempting to turn things around ahead of the Super Bowl, set to be played at the city's Caesars Superdome.

In a clip shared exclusively with PEOPLE, Ramsay seemingly has his culinary work cut out for him at Iberville, after the restaurant's owner tries to take the reins from her chefs and cook a hamburger herself. As is Kitchen Nightmares tradition, things don't go as planned.

"What's going on with those burgers?" Ramsay asks the owner, as he quickly prepares some French fries to go in the deep fryer.

"I just burned the s--- out of them," the frustrated owner says in return, setting down a plate of burger patties.

After just one look at the hamburgers, Ramsay quickly calls over the rest of the staff, including cooks and wait staff, to try a small bite of the food.

"That's raw," one member of the wait staff immediately replies, as everyone who tried the food reacts in horror and spits it out.

In one interview, the member of the staff even gags from thinking about eating the raw meat.

"I spit it out in Sammy's hand," she recalls. "I was like, 'That s--- is raw.'"

Ramsay is quick to remedy the situation, calling over one of the more skilled cooks at Iberville to teach her how to properly cook a burger.

Pulling the staffer aside, Ramsay gets extremely candid, telling her, "This is f---ing embarrassing. She can't even cook a f---ing burger. No more of this," before asking her to stop taking orders for a while as the chaos in the kitchen is sorted out.

The episode comes after a chaotic first episode of Kitchen Nightmares last week, when Ramsay got a taste of what he was in for at Iberville when he was served dirty oysters.

“I mean, oysters are dangerous enough but honestly I just recently had my sixth kid, Jesse James. I’d love to be around to celebrate his 1st birthday so I’ll pass on that one.” he says after being served the dish, adding, “It’s got clay and s---.”

The first half of this new season is set in New Orleans and is billed as Kitchen Nightmares: Road to Super Bowl LIX, as Ramsay aims help out different restaurateurs ahead of the big game on Feb. 9.
