Gordon Ramsay breaks down crying over Tilly’s major TV moment: ‘So proud’
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was brought to tears on Sunday night after his daughter Tilly was eliminated from the UK reality competition, Strictly Come Dancing.
The Celebrity MasterChef Australia star and her dance partner, Nikita Kuzmin, were sent home in week ten of the live shows after failing to impress the judges with their samba performance of Levitating by Dua Lipa.
Following her elimination, Tilly very gratefully thanked every person who worked on the show for creating “the most amazing, positive journey” for her.
“It’s just been the most extraordinary time,” the social media star remarked.
"I’ve found out stuff about myself I didn’t know I could do. I didn’t know I could dance and have fun like this, so just a massive thank you.”

Following her exit speech, the cameras panned to her father, Gordon, who was seen wiping away. his tears in the audience.
Fans on Twitter were quick to celebrate the Hell’s Kitchen host for demonstrating his immense love for his daughter.
“Seeing Gordon Ramsay unashamedly crying with pride each week watching Tilly - exactly what fatherhood should be,” one person wrote.
“Gordon Ramsay tearing up on Strictly each week gets me right in the feels every time! He’s so proud of Tilly and not afraid to show it,” another added.
“Gordon Ramsay always gets so emotional watching Tilly dance, so sweet,” someone else shared, while a fourth said, “Lovely to see Gordon looking so proud of his daughter, and quite rightly so!”
Meanwhile, several viewers were cynical of the TV chef’s tears and believed that he was “fake crying” for the cameras.
“Is it a coincidence that Gordon’s tears flow when the camera is on him?” one user tweeted, followed by another who called him an “attention seeker”.
“Strictly producers must be gutted they have to find a new minute per episode to fill now they can’t cut to or reference the fact Gordon Ramsay is in the audience,” a different viewer shared.
“Gordon has gotten more airtime than most of the professionals this series,” someone else commented.
Tilly’s Strictly Come Dancing elimination comes just one week after she came in second place on Celebrity MasterChef Australia to AFL player Nick Riewoldt.
