Ginger Zee Responds to ‘Creepy’ Comment About Her Dress

The Good Morning America meteorologist has become a quick favorite among viewers, in part due to her fabulous fashion. And now, we've come to learn that she's not one to gate-keep her best styling tips and tricks.

Following a recent broadcast, one eagle-eyed viewer noticed that Zee re-wore a bright figure-hugging pink dress, but how she styled it made it look like a completely new item.

"@Ginger_Zee [I] see wat u did with that dress," the fan wrote in a statement shared to X (formerly Twitter). "It's one u wore many times but this time bottom portion un buttoned to accommodate boots. It's almost like a new dress. Love that u did that. I fact u shud wear that dress like that more often boots or heels."

Some GMA viewers found the comment to be "creepy," with one suggesting that a stranger shouldn't be "commenting on your clothing choices. Or any woman's clothing choices. Unless it's his wife or daughter. and then I hope they stand up for what they like."

Another agreed, writing, "Omg, I thought the same thing."

Zee, however, didn't see a problem with the remark, excitedly replying: "Yes! I’ve worn this one many times and just make little modifications to make it feel new."

The fan later clarified what they meant, explaining that their intention wasn't to be creepy but simply to be a source of positivity amongst the fury of harsh and critical comments Zee is subjected to online.

"To be frank most of my life I [thought] the same way so I avoided ever giving a compliment about a [woman's] outfit. But I have [received] compliments from women so it only seemed right to reciprocate. Ginger gets many negative critics it good to have positive comment," the fan continued, "Also it's a response to her campaign to use her old wardrobe which she did in a new way. I apologize if it became creepy but never the intention. I mean all good."

They wouldn't be the only fan trying to hype up the 44-year-old TV personality, as just a few hours ago, Zee responded to another fashionista commenting on her style.

"Quick question, where did you get your top from?" they wrote on X. "The tan long sleeve sweater key hole top. The whole outfit today was sooo cute."

"Thank you!" a gracious Zee wrote back before tipping off the user, "[It's an] old one from ASTR the label."
