Ginger & Smart On Their 10th Year Showing At Australian Fashion Week

For most designers, the chance to show their collection once at Fashion Week is pretty life changing stuff.

Now imagine doing it ten times.

That's the reality for design duo and sisters Alexandra and Genevieve from Ginger & Smart, who are celebrating ten years showing at Fashion Week Australia.

Just before the show started, Yahoo7 guest editor and model/style blogger Nikki Phillips caught a chat with the designers about their pre-show rituals and the inspiration behind the new collection.

"We were both really struck by these incredible images of earth from space and they really spoke to us and the brand because the beautiful dreamy texture and incredible colour ," they said.

When it comes to any Fashion Week traditions, they both firmly agreed that's something they will have to create something special from here on in.
