Georgina Chapman Supports Boyfriend Adrien Brody at Gotham Awards amid Ex-Husband Harvey Weinstein's Hospitalization
The disgraced movie producer received an "alarming blood test result" requiring hospitalization, his legal team and spokesperson told PEOPLE Monday, Dec. 2
Adrien Brody had some major support from Georgina Chapman at the 2024 Gotham Awards.
The 51-year-old Oscar-winning actor was snapped with girlfriend Chapman, 48, during the annual ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, where Brody was nominated for outstanding lead performance in his film The Brutalist. (The award went to Sing Sing star Colman Domingo.)
The couple was dressed in coordinating ensembles, with Brody in a black suit featuring a patterned lapel and his date in a black gown boasting a waist-high slit and plunging sweetheart neckline.
Following their appearance at the Gotham Awards, Brody and Chapman also remained close as they attended an afterparty held at nearby hotel Nine Orchard in Lower Manhattan.

The couple's outing came the same day as the news that Chapman's ex-husband, disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein, had been hospitalized following an "alarming blood test result," as his legal team and spokesperson told PEOPLE on Monday in separate statements.
Weinstein, 72, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan for "emergent treatment" and was expected to remain until his condition stabilized, according to his attorney Imran H. Ansari, who alleged medical mistreatment at the hands of N.Y.C. jail staff at Rikers Island.
“Harvey Weinstein, who has been suffering from a lack of adequate medical care and enduring deplorable and inhumane conditions on Rikers Island, has been transported to Bellevue Hospital for emergent treatment due to an alarming blood test result that requires immediate medical attention," said Ansari. "It is expected that he will remain there until his condition stabilizes. His deprivation of care is not only medical malpractice, but a violation of his constitutional rights."
The former producer's spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said in another statement that he was facing "cruel and unusual punishment" on Rikers, New York's troubled jail complex, which a judge recently ordered put under federal receivership due to woeful conditions, and which must be closed by 2027 under city law.

“Mr. Weinstein, who is suffering from a number of illnesses, including leukemia, has been deprived the medical attention that someone in his medical state deserves, prisoner or not," said Engelmayer. "In many ways, this mistreatment constitutes cruel and unusual punishment.”
Weinstein, who is awaiting retrial on sex crimes charges after his New York conviction was overturned, was diagnosed with leukemia in October. Despite the overturned conviction, he is still behind bars after being convicted in a separate trial of one count each of forcible rape, forced oral copulation and sexual penetration by a foreign object in Los Angeles.
Chapman and Weinstein's divorce was finalized in July 2021, nearly four years after they split following close to a decade of marriage.
Brody and Chapman were first linked in 2019, with PEOPLE confirming in February 2020 that they were dating. The two made their red-carpet debut as a couple in June 2021.
