Georgia Love thankful to be vaxxed after 'horrible' Omicron symptoms

Former Bachelorette star Georgia Love has revealed her 'horrible' symptoms after testing positive to Covid-19.

The 33-year-old shared a reel on Instagram, showing her positive antigen test, as well as a photo of herself looking unwell, revealing that she believes she has Omicron.

"Welcome to 2022," she wrote. "Omicron has got me good. I’m double vaxxed, felt 100% fine last night but woke this morning with aches which have got worse and worse throughout the day, I have a horrible fever and my head feels like it may explode."

She added, "I can’t imagine what this would be like if I wasn’t vaccinated."

Bachelorette star Cam Cranley commented: "NOOOOOO," while designer Lana Wilkinson added: "Get well soon my love, thinking of you!"

Melbourne designer Jason Grech wrote: "Oh no, get well soon and sending energy your way."

Erin Holland added: "Oh girl, rest up and kick Rona's ass!"

Many others shared their sympathies with one person sharing they were in the same boat. "Same!! Exact same symptoms started last night. Truly horrid. Can’t even imagine not being vaxxed!!" they said.

A day earlier, Georgia shared a photo of herself and husband Lee Elliott celebrating the new year, with the caption: "I don't know about you, but I'm feeling '22."

Lee also took to Instagram to show both his and Georgia's rapid tests, revealing he was negative.

"Question is, do I go and make out with my wife and get it corona and done with?" he wrote.

MAFS' Martha reveals the Covid symptom that won't go away

Married At First Sight's Martha Kalifatidis tested positive for Covid last week, taking to Instagram to reveal the symptom that hasn't gone away.

"Last night I finally got to sleep. I had like, a solid eight hours of sleep and I feel so much better today, but I have lost my taste," she said while lying on her bed.

She revealed she, her fiancé Michael Brunelli and her mum Mary Kalifatidis had a barbecue the night before, but she wasn't able to taste a thing.

"They were enjoying it, they even had a Cornetto (ice cream) for dessert. I didn't have one obviously because I couldn’t taste it," she said.

"Do you still eat if you can't taste? I don't get it. I'm not going to eat a Cornetto, because I can't taste it. What’s the point of consuming the calories?"

When Martha and Michael first tested positive, the reality star told her followers, "Covid sucks, it is so f**king s**t."

She continued, "Some people are like, 'Oh it's just a cold'. It is just a virus, but it is a pretty s**t one. Michael actually got hit really hard with it.

"So there's actually like a sore throat, chest burning, nausea, vomiting, fever and then chills. If you can avoid this, avoid it. You don’t want to get Covid, especially now when it's the holidays."
